Kirsten Lei was born in Oslo, Norway. Growing up overseas and experiencing foreign cultures shaped her views to become the person she is today.

She is passionate about all of life. Centered by standing at her easel coaxing life onto an empty canvas. Her abstracts are colorfully organic, conveying a sense of depth, mystery, and light.

Her work is held in private collections both in the US and internationally.
